Arcadia Integrator API
- Arcadia integratorAPI [PDF]
Cadonix’ Arcadia Integrator API is a powerful Lua based scripting interface that allows 3rd party systems and processes to interact with many of Arcadia’s data structures.
Customers can use their own development team to write their integrations to Arcadia’s API or elect to use Cadonix consultancy service to help. We can advise on the best way that we can work together with customers to ensure a robust system that the customer can use and maintain themselves after the development is complete.
How to get started
The Arcadia API is available for customers with an integrator license which allows them to access the scripting services. Please contact your system administrator, account manager or Cadonix helpdesk to check this has been installed.
What the API does
The Arcadia integrator API provides an SSH file based scripting interface and job processor that allows job based execution of Lua files containing the API functions. The API commands are standardised for all customer and provide a consistent and reliable way of interfacing to a number of the internal data structures in Arcadia.
The API contains enough commands and flexibility to allow the customer to write complicated business logic as part of their scripts. Conversely they may opt to drive their business logic from their existing systems and use the API to reflect the changes into Arcadia (this is often the preferred modality).
How we can help
Once you have acquired your Arcadia Integrator API licence we will send you an API reference document and some examples to cover several use cases.
If you have a complex requirement or would like us to aid in your integration Cadonix can provide consultancy services to offer support on your project.
