Arcadia Release Notes - August 22nd 2025

Arcadia Release Notes – September 19th, 2025

Release version: 1-21-3-18

Category: New Features, Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements

This release focuses on usability and stability, bringing smoother workflows to schematic and harness design. We have enhanced flexibility for connector cavity labelling and streamlined CSV imports. Key fixes include improvements to data synchronization, component consistency, and browser stability during design tasks.

Improvements

Cavity Label Position Assignment

Control connector cavity label position per harness task and per connector  –

You can now control the position of connector cavity labels on connector views per harness task and even per connector, providing more flexibility than the previous method, which was limited to the component database.

Import CSV Pin Positions

Custom Component Pin direction display for CSV imports in schematic:
When importing data via CSV, you can now specify the desired side for a component’s pins. This helps make schematic design faster by reducing the need for manual post-placement adjustments.

Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Synchronize Schematic
Syncnronize schematic in harness now excludes empty tags, preventing the creation of duplicate wire IDs and improving data accuracy.
  • NWF Connector Table
The display of model and description details for standard components is now consistent with how custom components are shown.
  • Grouped library standard component
Pin labels on grouped standard components are now consistent across multiple rotations, ensuring uniform label positioning.
  • Composite key PN+Revision+Issue
A fix for edge cases related to the uniqueness rule for part number, revision, and issue combinations provides a more seamless user experience.
  • Browser zoom operation in Quick Wiring Mode
Zoom operations in the browser are now more stable when Quick Wiring Mode is active.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. We are committed to delivering a more stable and efficient Arcadia experience with every release.
