This release makes your work faster and smoother than ever. Adding wire breaks in schematics is now much quicker, and you have more flexibility with report customisation for harnesses and formboards.

Improvements

Add Wire Breaks for multiple wires

We have enhanced the schematic workflow with a new option to add wire breaks for multiple wires in one go. This makes it easier to manage off-sheet connections, so you can design everything on a single sheet and easily move connections to other sheets as and when needed.

Wire Cut List and BOM Report Customization

We have introduced greater control and flexibility for data exports. You can now fully customize the headers and column order in the Wire Cut List and Harness Bill of Materials (BOM) reports using the new report column customization feature. This enhancement is especially valuable for integration with external systems, making it easier to manage and streamline downstream processes.

Multicore Reports- Gauge column in multicore and twisted view

We have enhanced the usability within Harness and Formboard reports by adding Gauge information as one of the columns for the multicore and twisted view pair report.

Housing toggle ON/OFF – Now 2× faster
Pins toggle ON/OFF – Now 2× faster
Updating Network Splice & Wire Break properties – Up to 7× faster

Fixes and Stability Improvements

Enhanced Stability for Grouped Components: We have improved how the system handles grouped components when the housing toggle is switched off. Exceptions have been resolved, ensuring a seamless workflow.

Correct Part Descriptions in BOM Table: Fixed a problem with KBL imports where part descriptions were not being displayed correctly in the BOM table. You will now see the correct data imported every time.

Accurate Reporting for Multicore Wires: Resolved an issue where measure “ Each” for multicore wires was not reflected in the external report, ensuring consistent and accurate data output.
Improved Wire Editor Stability: Addressed a duplicate Wire ID warning that appeared when saving filtered data in the Wire Editor. The workflow is now smoother and error-free.
Enhanced navigation experience for the project & folders: We have improved the navigation experience for users with a large number of projects and folders.
