This release introduces practical enhancements to Arcadia that simplify wire routing, improve alignment, and minimise manual effort. These updates are designed to enhance wire management efficiency, support design accuracy, and strengthen data integrity.
Earlier, wire routing required connecting pins one by one, making the process repetitive and time-consuming. The new Quick Wire Routing feature streamlines this by enabling connections between multiple source and destination pins/components, with a preview before finalising the route.
Earlier, moving a component would often distort connected wires, which required manual realignment. With Smart Move, wires now adjust automatically, inserting bends where needed to maintain clarity and alignment.
Previously, it was possible to reuse the same combination of Part Number ,Revision and Issue across multiple Projects. This led to confusion and made tracking difficult. This update introduces a validation to ensure each combination is unique across all projects.
Several improvements have been made to enhance stability and reliability, particularly within the schematic environment.
These updates are designed to provide a smoother and more confident design experience across Arcadia.
