Arcadia Release Notes: January 9th, 2026

Release version: 1-21-3-25

Category: New Features and Stability Improvements

This release focuses on improving schematic wire bend move, more autonomy for terminals in schematic for entry port identification with third-party applications, improvements in schematic editors, and improved validations, which improve user experience.

Improvements

NWF for terminals making entry port identification simpler – You can now define NWF for terminals within the component database. When a terminal is used as a connector, the NWF combines with the Pin ID to automatically generate the entry port value, simplifying identification, which will be useful in integration with third-party applications.

Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Improved handling of blank rows in the schematic component editor. Empty rows no longer trigger validation issues, resulting in a smoother editing experience.

  • Wire editor defaults have been refined so material and gauge values are no longer automatically re-applied when a user intentionally clears them.

  • Improved drag-select and move behaviour when using shortcut keys, resulting in more accurate and predictable component movement.

  • Enhanced splice strip length logic in harness design. Strip length now prefers values from the Component Database over profiles, giving users greater control and improving accuracy in downstream reports.
