Cadonix Release Notes:
June 16TH, 2026

Release version:  1-21-3-36

Category: Workflow Simplicity & Design Efficiency

This release focuses on Workflow Simplicity & Design Efficiency by reducing manual correction steps and removing interface friction across schematic operations. Users will benefit from smart wire realignment during component adjustments and persistent image views that remain intact even when attached part nodes change. Additionally, the design environment is made cleaner and more efficient through reduced visual overlap, optional description fields for better visibility, and a streamlined property manager flow that eliminates unnecessary warnings.

Improvements

Smartmove for Rotate and Flip/Mirror

Rotating or flipping/mirroring a component in the schematic now smartly realigns wire connections when Smartmove is toggled On.

Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Sync schematic for custom component
Custom components without assigned connector IDs can now be placed in the harness as a connector following a schematic sync, by using the custom component reference code.

  • Traditional Inline Connector Overlap
Improved accuracy by reducing the overlap faced with pin labels when moving or deleting traditional inline connectors.

  • Inline Connector – Description
Description fields for both the female and male halves of a connector can now be removed from the schematic for cleaner visibility and easier identification.

  • Streamlined Mating Halves Flow through property manager
Simplified the inline connector Property Manager flow by removing warnings when mating linked halves are set up in the component database.

  • Persistent Views for attached parts
Image views for attached parts are now retained in the harness even after the attached part node changes, providing persistence and eliminating the manual effort to re-establish the view.
