This release focuses on workflow efficiency with the launch of Harness AI, an on-demand feature from Arcadia, providing users with an expert to review designs. Additionally, we have improved GraphQL mutation queries and provided fixes on the harness side, improving the overall efficiency of the design

Launch of Harness AI

Harness AI is an AI-powered design assistant built directly into Arcadia. It acts as a knowledgeable colleague alongside your engineers – automatically reviewing designs against your company standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing rules the moment analysis is triggered. From catching critical design escapes to generating custom inspection reports, Harness AI ensures every harness leaves your team optimized, compliant, and ready to build.

This will be offered as an on-demand addition, deployed to customers following a short training session, and available free of charge for the first year.

Improved API Data Mutation

We have extended the mutation task update query to support additional data fields, enabling more comprehensive data updates. This provides an additional avenue to update fields apart from UI, helping in 3rd Party integrations for indirect updates.

Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Strip Length When Re-Populating the Same PN from the Database
    When populating the same PN as well, the strip length is now populated from the database, prioritizing the database over the edited strip length as PN is repopulated.

  • Splice Image Orientation
     We have fixed an exception issue w.r.t. Splice image orientation, such that changing the orientation to any of the available options is successful.

  • Splice Image Sides Loopback Synchronization
    For splice image sides, Harness and Formboard are now in synch such that loopback is shown in Formboard only when it is available in Harness.

  • Update the Cavities Option in the Wire Table
     Update cavities option for Terminals/Seals/Plugs under the wire table on inspecting a connector is now operational and updates the cavities correctly.
