Improvements

In-App Release Notes & Notifications

You can now see the latest Arcadia updates through a dedicated release notes section and receive banner notifications immediately after every release.

Internal API

Applications like Quotebuilder and smartbuild can now access Arcadia via internal APIs instead of public ones, reducing the need for dedicated API licensing.

Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Zone Axis Naming:
    You will now experience uniform synchronization between X and Y-axis names for Zones across both the creation and edit flows.

  • Harness Cloning Metadata:
    When you clone a harness, metadata like part numbers will now correctly transfer to the cloned formboard, keeping parent-child relationships intact for your downstream ERP tools.

  • Multicore Cutback Node DRC:
    Design Rule Checks (DRC) are now more accurate for multicore validation reports when wires have cutback nodes on both ends, ensuring wire routes are correctly determined.

  • Clearer Splice Reset Messages:
    You will now see clearer, more meaningful verbiage in the notification prompt when updating wire route.

  • Bundle Label Positioning:
     Bundle labels now maintain their accurate positioning without getting offset when you add a covering.
