Arcadia Release Notes – January 23rd, 2026

Release version: 1-21-3-26


Category: New Features and Stability Improvements

This release focuses on improving schematic wire bend move, improving synchronisation of Variants and Options w.r.t. Wire and Manufacturing Tables, and offering user controlled Variant Based view in the BOM Table. Additionally, there are other stability improvements in the schematic, and the harness task is to improve overall user experience.

Improvements

Schematic wire bends and labels now move more intuitively

Bend nodes are prioritised during group moves, reducing manual rework.

Dynamic Filtering of Wire table and Manufacturing table

Wire and Manufacturing Tables now include an option to dynamically filter details based on Toggled ON Variants and Options, enabling targeted views in both harness and formboard designs matching the same functionality offered by BOM table.

Enhanced Variant based view in BOM Table

Quantity and Lengths can now be seen for variants individually, providing greater level of detail for BOM driven by user choice.

Fixes and Stability Improvements

  • Improved handling source and destination after adding wire breaks. Source and Destination are accurately displayed when wire breaks are added

  • Flip for grouped wire bends– flip now considers bends which are grouped with other components, providing a better visual experience and cleaner design

  • Improved behaviour for overlapping components- For overlapping components, component labels and graphics are now consistent and visible and not automatically hidden

  • Improved stability in schematic and harness-  Improved overall stability by handling exceptions while opening schematic and harness tasks, bend bundles in harness, exporting schematic data report
